Tesla Powerwall 3 - Newly launched in the UK in 2024 - It’s a big one for solar and battery storage! ‘More Power. More Savings. More Backup’

Powerwall 3 supports up to 20 kW DC of solar and provides 11.04 kW AC of continuous power per unit. It has the ability to store up to 13.5kWh of energy, meaning a single Powerwall 3 can support the power needs of most homes.

  • Full system monitoring and analysis is available via the Tesla App. Powerwall 3 comes with a redesigned active thermal management system, to enhance performance and efficiency.

  • Storm watch! Powerwall 3 is always on ‘storm watch’! This means the unit will automatically charge to maximum storage capacity when severe weather is forecast, making sure you have maximum backup protection.

What about grid restrictions?

National Grid can limit the power output of Solar PV and Battery Storage Systems depending on the local grid’s capacity. The good news is, Powerwall 3 have unrivalled power with intelligent flexibility by allowing installers to maximise your grid connection using the configurable power output settings between 3.68kW to 11kW. This unique feature futureproofs you in the event of local grid updates, that allow you to increase power output should your local grid allowance change.
